Got my Kayak out for only the second time this season. Seems like it's always either too windy or raining, though we need the rain. Lake was flat calm but despite that the crappie were chewing and I educated a healthy amount without changing flies once. Bite was from 8am to around 10. Fish were in 4-8 fow and presumably (didn't kill and clean any) feeding up after spawning. Caught a few gills but stayed off the super shallows as I think they are still bedding. Probably my best yak outing for crappie.
