Hello, New/old member here. I have been fly fishing/ fly tying since the 80's when I was a kid behind my house for salmon and steelhead. Had lots of opportunities in the Army to fish in other countries (Panama, Germany. ect..) and all across the USA. If Im not training my hunting dogs ( labs and beagles) , you'll find me in my office tying a few dozen flies, dreaming of being on the stream somewhere. My favorite rod is my Loomis 5wt 2 pc GLX, I have casted a few rods over the years looking to replace her but have a hard time spending money on a modern rod that my 25+ yr old rod outperforms.
