Going to Ocean City, NJ for a long weekend and want to do some flyfishing if possible. Been fishing Carson's inlet so I can get into some fishable water. Does anyone have suggestions for flys or other places I could try?
Thanks

You'll have to ask locally for colors but I'd say clousers, deceivers and half and halfs in sizes 6 thru 2/0 should be all you'd need as far as flies. If you have an intermediate line, that would help too.

Mullet should be running or starting now. take along some siliclones to imitate them, also some spread flies..I would have a shooting head or sink tip to get down with also...If you are fishing inlets them a sin tip is a must..

Thanks for the advice!
Made it to Carsons Inlet a couple times over the weekend. The wind was just too much for me and my fly rod so I got out the spinning rod with and egg sinker and mullet strips.
Did well with a bunch of short blues and fluke from the point of the inlet. Also got a cooler full of bass on a headboat on Sunday.
