Late winter on the Schuylkill River

Looking for advice on what patterns and sizes to use this time of year on the Schuylkill River. I don’t have a particular target species in mind, just something likely to bite this time of year.

Rod is an old 8' 7/8wt Shakespeare Alpha with a Redington RedFly RF2 7/8/9wt. Line is WF-9-F.

It'll be tough finding anything to cooperate as cold as that river will be. Let us know how you make out though.

Being that its just a general warmwater stream with bass etc i would try a wooly bugger first

Yep a heavy Wooly Bugger fished deep and slow, Id start with a size 6.
