I believe these 3 Pflueger Medalist fly reels date from the 1930’s. Except for some missing paint finish they are each in excellent, clean, fishable (working) condition. These include the Model 1392 (for 3/4 line weights), which is a more rare model, the Model 1494 (for 5/6 line weights), and the Model 1495 (for 7/8 line weights).
These are all right hand wind reels with dark amber plastic handles, and all three reels have nice discernible, smooth sounding clicks both when winding line in or taking it off the spool. The Model 1494 and 1495 reels both have Diamond line guides and an adjustable drag nut.
You can get more information on the history of Pflueger Medalist reels here: https://www.flyanglersonline.com/features/oldflies/part287.php
I’d like $400.00, plus shipping for all three reels, and if you buy all 3 I’ll also include a nearly new Cortland 444 wf8 peach floating line that you can use with the Model 1495, or use it elsewhere if you wish. I’ll sell these reels individually at $200.00 for the Model 1392, and $100.00 each for the Models 1494 and 1495. (If the reels are sold individually, I’ll sell the Cortland line separately for $30.00.)
These reels can be picked up in person in the Lancaster area, or I’ll ship them is paid by PayPal. Send me a private message here to arrange purchase or with any questions.
Thanks, John
