Why not just mention the streams’ names? I ask that because an angler who knows a lot about the streams in the Perkiomen or Manatawny drainages might not know anything about those in the Tulpehocken, Maiden, Swatara, French, Conestoga, and Little Lehigh Creek drainages. Berks Co’s political boundaries include parts of two major river drainage basins, three subbasins and eight (or perhaps more if I mis-counted in my head) sub-subbasins.
Look for access along the West Branch of the Perkiomen. It is a hopscotch affair, but it is Class A wild trout. Start at Old Route 100 and work your way upstream.
