What if FTA is this Dusty Roads dude!?
I've seen worse off topic threads in my time here. 😉Are we now having a debate about who is the best spin-fisherman on a fly fishing website? Cheese is an acceptable topic, but this is just lunacy.
Quite the imagination, but that's not possible. I've seen what FTA fishes for, and it's the complete opposite of what Dusty goes after. What if FTA is this Dusty Roads dude!?
Lunacy is not going with the three time NWA World Heavyweight Champion, NWA World Tag Team Champion, NWA US Champion, NWA Champion, National Heavyweight Champion, American Tag team Champion, Southern Heavyweight Champion, Florida Heavyweight Champion, US and North American Tag Champion, NWA Georgia Heavyweight Champion, NWA National Heavy Weight Champion and World Six-Man Tag Team Champion.😂Are we now having a debate about who is the best spin-fisherman on a fly fishing website? Yesssssss the american dream DUSTY ROADS !!!!! Legend !!!!!!
I agree that the Internet is breeding a weird type of ego-maniac, but your friend should have not shared info with someone either. Did he realize he was a YouTuber before he shared information?I think his videos are repetitive and boring. Yes there are guys that catch big fish using all kinds of methods. And believe it or not they do not all need to post everything online. It's one thing to share with a few friends but there is something about it that just seems to be more about ego. In the end these guys all are seeking some kind of notoriety for what they do. Fame and fishing are odd bedfellows . Especially with the internet.
Here is an example of the low character of some of these youtubers. My friend was hunting mushrooms and happened upon a you tube guy who makes videos of hiking and history stuff. He had a conversation with the guy about mushroom hunting and mentioned "please do not put that in your video". My friend also mentioned that the guy was overall unfriendly, not like his youtube persona. Sure enough the guy makes the video and puts it on youtube and spot burns the place for mushroom hunting. This guy has thousands of followers.
not unique to YouTubers. Youtube just has a wider reach. People getting into the fly shop business looking to endear themselves to build reputations contributes too. I'm kind of thinking of one right now. It's tricky though. What's the line to serving clients and self promotion. Not having started or owning a business I don't have a full perspective.I agree that the Internet is breeding a weird type of ego-maniac, but your friend should have not shared info with someone either.
