Dame's Rocket (Hesperis matronalis)

dames rocket may be correct for the flower, but I believe he was asking about the mayfly. I'm gonna say green drake.

yea I know, it was so easy I thought I'd go for the bonus question.

Dave,

Quick question: On the body color, could you add a top and bottom? I know it is not the easiest to get but I think my flies should match the bottom more so than the top.

Thanks,

Steve

That's correct, always take a look at the bottom of a fly to tie the correct imitation.

Personally, I've experienced em on Penns, BFC, Pine, Kettle, First Fork, Allegheny River (in Potter County), and a bunch of smaller streams I'm not willing to mention. 🙂
