Hi to all of yinz fellow fly-fishers out there n'at,
I used to fly fish and tie my own flies when I was in high school and even through most of my college career. Unfortunately though life got busy and other things got in the way of me being able to spend time out on the water. It got to the point to where I even stopped buying a fishing license every year because it was too much money for what little time I actually got to spend out on the water. Needless to say it's been some time since I picked up my fly rod(like almost 20 years). Due to a health scare this past fall and some stuff I took time and re-evaluated what was important to me in my life. Needless to say it's led me to prioritize my time to where I can spend time again on the streams and creeks that I love to fish. So here I am trying to teach myself how to fly fish again and even getting back into tying my own flies. I must say that both of those passions have really changed over the years that I've been away, but at the same time they've stayed the same in some aspects as well. So if you see me out on Laurel Hill Creek, Jones Mill, Will's Creek, or anywhere else don't be afraid to say Hi!
