While I was legitimately working the other day, I did get out with pcray today for some Brookie fishing. Flows were good, stream was good, fish were willing. I’ll take it.

Blair County fish and game club creek fed pond. This was about 6:00 this morning.

Count yourself lucky to be stuck at a desk. On this long weekend, I had the misfortune of finding this fat leech (or I guess it found me). It road with me from the creek for a 30-minute drive back to the cabin. Look down thinking I had a bit of dirt on me from wet wading to find that it indeed is not dirt and in fact has drained a considerable amount of blood. Would not recommend. The fishing was good though.

Better than finding a land lubbing parasitic creature on you when you get home. IMO. But, yeah. Both of my Lyme experiences came from wet wading too.
