Dusty Rhodes streams

I have watched a few of Dusty's more recent videos, where he's catching his typically big wild browns. But, some of these same streams are also producing some really big, apparently stocked rainbows. It seems strange to me that a stream holding these big wild browns, and in some cases good numbers of them, would be getting stocked at all. I could be wrong, but I believe most of the streams he's catching these big wild browns on are private waters. I have NEVER seen another fisherman on ANY of the streams he fishes.
I'm curious to hear what others think might be going on with these streams?
I just watched one of his more recent videos, and for the fun of it tried to locate the watershed, the stream, and the pools or sections/beats. I was able to do that and it took me less than 10 minutes. If I can do that, surely others can as well. Perhaps he needs to use some different camera lenses to show less field of view, or he should stop filming his honey holes, since they might get a lot more pressure in the future. Either way, the streams are not any mystery.

YOu could ask a particular YouTuber to sell the coordinates for you. Hopefully his cut as the broker wouldn't be too much of your profits.....

Ok, the story. I was in Vermont in the summer of 1979 working ,training dogs and fishing when I had a chance. Driving along one day I saw a guy on the side of the road thumbing, wearing a fishing vest and carrying a rod , a bait caster with a closed face Zebco reel on it. I stopped and as he crawled in I saw on the back of his vest in bold letters RIVER RAIPIST. Ok, now I'm curious. I asked what was with the logo. He tells me he's the best trout fisherman in the world. Curious, I offered a beer and a sandwich for information. He tells me that he'd rather show me than try to explain what he did. Not a problem. Lunch finished we went to one of the local streams, the Hoosic River where he has me drive to a spot at a big water fall. I stopped my truck and got into the back, slid on my boots and grabbed my rod and walked over to find him reeling up a nice brown about a foot long. He say that this is not good and we need to go to another creek where the fishing will be better. Ok off we go to Massachusetts just over the line from Vermont to the Green River in Williamstown. We stopped at a spot and before I could get out of the truck he's rock hopping up the creek throwing a big # 2 Mepps spinner as far as he could. He cranks it back in as fast as he can jerking on the rod and proceeding to hook a nice trout which he threw on the bank telling me to get a grape vine and put it on it. This rock hopping went on till we had a half dozen big trout on that grape vine. We went back to the bar for another round and he said he'd get me some more fish later that week as I had wanted to do a fish fry for some of my dog trainer friends. A few days later I'm back at he bar when the owners tell me that my friend was in earlier and had given them a mess of fish. In the kitchen thy had a sheet tray loaded with big browns one was at least 24 inches long. Well guess who got the fish and had a fish fry. Oddly enough,I never saw that guy ever again.
I took his method and have used it to catch loads of big trout over the years . #2 gold Mepps spinner tossed upstream and cranked back as fast as you can turn the handle. Hang on! GG

You were more trusting of a complete stranger than I would have been, even back in the day. Not sure what RIVER RAIPIST was supposed to mean. Did he have Rapist misspelled?

No ,his spelling was correct. GG
I've been back to that area and caught a lot the fish in the same way. I had one stop my line and just swim off like a log with fins. GG
