Hi everyone, glad I'd found this site. New but dedicated so far. Sometimes get out by Tamaqua, Jim Thorpe area, just thought I'd try to be proactive say hello and throw it out there if when the temps drop anyone might be looking to fish that wouldn't mind a new guy in the distance asking questions from time to time and learning while practicing or trying.
I know next to nothing regarding trout fishing minus one brief lesson and a guide. Have fished spinners for warm water fish my whole life. Kinda growing a liking to this fly thing so far, wish I'd learned sooner.
Appreciate any responses or help. If you see someone tangled in the trees, it might just be me. Feel free to say hi - just be careful of what looks to be someone trying to backcast.
Best of luck this season.
